Marion Mutala writes this collection of poems in response to the racial injustices going on today. In memory of the many unmarked graves found at old residential schools across the country, Marion featured Kevin Peeace’s powerful image on the cover.
After hearing about Little Details Editing from a fellow author, Marion asked Kay to copyedit, proofread, and do the layout for her book of poetry.
Race to Finish, what does it mean? A play on words. If humans do not stop racism, systemic racism, white privilege, and killing innocent Black and Indigenous people it will be the end of humanity. We will destroy each other. Will the human race make it to the finish line?
